(This thing should be posted last week Monday but it is really too long to blog it down until today I decided to sit down and write)
Woke up early in the morning at 6.45am as I am supposed to be at the G&J office by 8am.But looking into the time,I will be late anyway.So in the end I sleep until 7.15am before I got out of bed to brush up.Then I quickly pack my bag for today and go down to flag for a cab.But so many people along the road trying to flag too.I walked down the road to a cross junction to try my luck.Luckily a cab just drop a passenger nearby and so I hop onto the cab and head for the office.I thought I will be calling for a cab again.
Even though I took a cab,I still got there at 8.10am.I walked in and see crews loading things up the van and I continue walk up to look for someone who will attend to me.I walked into the gate and saw HuiHui mending the hair of my opponent.She is a Ang Moh of course.HuiHui also gave me a set of clothes to wear.I think it is quite big but I still put it on.It is really big.Looks like a small kid in an adult clothes.After that,slack in the house for awhile.For your info,the office is a house along Newton Rd,Newton Lodge.Then I load myself into another van.
First stop,Tuas Tao Yi Yuan.Singapore largest ceramic factory.The crew got down to set up the place while I was made to stay in the van to rest because I cannot afford to sweat.HuiHui helped me do my hair also.On the van I talked to my opponent.GUESS WHAT?! She is a pure Singaporean and studied Chinese like everyone of us in Singapore.And most of all,she is older then me and her Chinese is prefect!She got down the van and start her introduction shoot while I waited for mine.The shooting scene is a shelter beside a pond.There are lots of fishes inside the pond.Beautiful.
When she is done and I am done,Chong Qing the host was here.Greet each other course all of us is not unknown to each other.Chong Qing and Mei Lian(my opponent) are from Ben Tu Yi Pai while I am from ATS.When he got dressed up like us,comical costume,the competition start.This is the first round and 3 questions will be asked.I purposely borrowed booked related to this topic but none of the questions I have know come up.I lost this round by a point.I still have to complain about the question asked.After this we do a short snap to cover up what is not present just now in the shoot.So this that actions have to re-do.
Then,it's Chong Qing's turn to do recording.Then I and Mei Lian roam around the place to look at the smallest and biggest ceramic.The oldest so far we found is 160 years ago.The dust was collected on the ceramic.Wondering how long they have not been touched.Then comes the lunch.Zhu (Hou Ren) Da Ge brought us lunch.I think is a $4 packet rice.Got Cha Siew,roasted meat,bean sproat and eggs.Seldom eat that.Eating that is very full.Chong Qing sat beside me and the 3 of us chatted until it's time to start work.I and Mei Lian continued to tour the place with our odd costume even the guard dog over there scare of us.Keep running away when we appear. =D
After we combed the place,we went back to our van to rest.Yes,HuiHui who is my assistant keep asking me want tissue to wipe the sweat or not.Felt so pampered you know,like big star.On the van we chatted again,until I dozed off.She also closed her eyes to rest.Stupid Chong Qing took so long.We still got the next place to go.
Don't know how long later,we set off to the next place.Heard during lunch that this place is a temple in Orchard Rd.ORCHARD RD?TEMPLE?Interesting.Is a long journey from Tuas.The place is just behind Starhub Building.Hei,when Xiao Yin's ma drive me home she will always past this building.Never know that this is a temple until now.Crew got down to set up the place and we are still inside the van because we are the stars,we CANNOT sweat.When it our time then we go down to take position.
The place is more like a building more than a temple including the inside.It is also so beautiful,a tradition setting place.Ok,second round start.3 question asked again.And this time I got 2 and win this round so therefore is a 1-1 tie.Same as the first round,there are a few things which need to re-shoot.
Everything ends at about 6.15pm.I was going ti Shaw House to meet loong but Zhu Da Ge promised to give me a lift.But he have to drop Chong Qing somewhere near ATS and fetch her wife.How many people can sit his car you get me.I am so proud.This is also the very first time I contact with him,but I feel that we already know each other for quite some time. =)
