Xiao Pin (JC) Preview

Before the Registration closes,I was in the office worry and happy that I only recieve 3 application form for participation.Worry because there are so few team taking part.Happy because if I want to take part,I will have lesser rivals and maybe there wouldn't be even the qualifying round.But on the very last day,all the application forms came in via fax.17 teams inclucding me myself taking part.There are 2 school which is taking part for the first time.They are Anglo-Chinese JC and HCI which its past name was Hwa Chong JC.I take note of everything I can gather because this concerns me.Temasek JC and Nanyang JC are not participating this year as Temasek will be having their own perform in their school and for Nanyang,some politics between ATS and them.
Standards are expected to be low without the likes of Nanyang and Temasek.
ACJC doing last minute work with National JC.Pionner JC are the most prepared team but underdogs yet.HCI taking part for the first time so,don't expect much from them but still consider underdogs.Serangoon,Anderson and Catholic JC,expect nothing from them.Confirm they will not get in.
Another few school like Tampines JC,Victoria JC and Raffles JCI can't get anything out of them.but do consider them as underdogs.
Since most of them are underdogs,who are the strongs?Singapore Polytechnic will sent in a team in between years.This year they are sending one in again and there is only 1 performer as stated in the form.They are going to do something out of the blues.Do consider them strong.

Xiao Pin (Secondary) Report...

The competition ended yesterday with not much surprise results.The are 12 teams qualify this year.They are respectivly...

The surprise drop out will be Dunman.They were 3 times champions since 2001.Another surprise will be MGS.But to me,they should even be chased off the stage once their performance start.This year the teachers in charge,not the drama teachers are nore "guai lan" when they are on the stage.They can keep doubting if the backstage technician like me can help them do a good job or not.If they think I can't help,do it yourself!One of the teacher I dislike most is from Nan Hwa and Fairfield.Kanna SAI!Out of the above qualified list,there is a school which is taking part first time and got into the finals.They are Bartley Secondary School.Good job they did.I think they are just lucky to have Li Jia as their drama instructor.
Now the judges.The prefer real life story again.So most of them are life story.But there is another thing to take note of.Most of the teams that got into the finals are having the biggest props in hte competition.Like RV and AHS.Does really props matter teams get into the finals?You all decided.If there is any question you like to have my views please leave a note on the tagboard.

Xiao Pin 2005 Preview...

This year Xiao Pin will be another big year.Another record breaking year as a few records are broken.Firstly,the number of team participating for the secondary school hit a new record of 36 compare to last year's new high of 27.There are 6 schools which are participating for the first time.As for another record,the JC participating team hit another new hit too.Last year was 13 while this year there are 17 teams,including a Polytechnic,Singapore Polytechnic.Singapore Poly last appearance was 3 years ago where they got 5th in overall placing.There were 2 rare JC taking part this time.They are respectivly,ACJC and HCI(Hwa Chong Institute).ACJC is participating for the first time.Standards expect to be low for a few school but AHS and RI with Cat high expect to be high.Underdogs will still remain in the likes of Dunman and RV.Others are not expected much from them.

Bread Toaster...

2 days ago was the water boiler,today is the bread toaster.My father cut away the wire and wanted to throw away but in the end never throw.I bought a new set of wire and connector and fixed back everything.This time is much more easier as only the wire is the disabled component.Others are still intact.
So next time,if you got any electronic spoil.If you don't mind you can pass it to me,I will see the problem into it.I think the next thing will be my semi-spoilt disman. :D

Water Boiler...

My house that water boiler spoilt a few days ago.I opened up everything to see where it has spoilt.I found that the live wire is not connected to the internal conponent.The live wire is connected to a resistor sort of thing so it cannot pass throught.So should be the thing is spoilt.
Today before going to ATS,I went to Sim Lim Tower to buy the conponent.I thought it will be very difficult to find but I was wrong.I just went into the shop where I always visit and show the pretty lady the thing I want.She quickly got the thing for me without looking here and there for it.I asked her what is this thing,she say is something "thermal controller",it is to control the the amount of current into the load.
*Rewind*Before I went into SimLim Tower,there is this lost China friend on hte street looking for help.He wants to go to Suntec and I showed him the way there.Quite a distance to walk for me but to China people,I think should be alrite. :D
The "thermal controller" cost $2.50.And still remember my father said,"throw away throw away" and then he cut away the wire."Throw away"?Let's see who will throw away who in the year 2007.That's when we will say sayonara!He doesn't like things not taken home by him and especially things from my mother's family this side.
After that I went to ATS.Sort of miss the place althought I did not go there for the last 2 weeks.

The Wake...

This title,memories of the past.I remember I read the best "The Wake" composition in 2003 written by *someone*.

Today's wake is by Minglee's father.Did not ask how old his father is when he passed away.Almost all the whole ATS representatives are there.Parent's group,youth group,children's group(Vinnie present only),teacher's group and the management group.YingHong and mother was here too.The Cheung Cheng people will be going there tomorrow.If they are going tonight I don't think I will be going,as I don't know how to face *someone* because of the recent accident.
At the wake,I can only see a few family members like Minglee and BaoMin & MingLiang and my lao jie,Li Yan.

Math Examination...

Again I have to say,how the hell will I pass this paper? Though it is at least better then yesterday's paper.There was this Gauss Elimination Method,luckily I manage to know where the error was I made when I first attemp this question and managed to finish this question just before my teacher took away my paper.I think my teacher should be quite worry for me as I am one of hte most inconsistant student in the class,or should I say the never consistant student in the class.
Ok,after today I should be maybe worry about my NS and not the result of my this semester exam.Quite relieve I felt.
Will have to start writing for my script for the competition tomorrow.Quite broke recently,have to win some big cash back.First prize is like $800,second is $500 and the third is $200.There is one more the "Best Actor" prize,not sure the proze money is how much but I at least gonna win something before I go.

Inayasha...

I never thought I would watch a whole series of anime but I am doing it right now althought I haven't finish watching it."Inayasha...o-su-wa-di"!!!! And how Inayasha swing his sword,De-sai-ga,to kill all the monster with his sword trademark "ba-ku-ro".WO HO!
Still got 2 more volumes to go! Go Kagome,Shippo,San-go,Hosma and of cause the handsome half monster INAYASHA!!!!

Why am I smiling today?
When I got into the exam room and look into the paper,I found out that the theory part.Almost none I am able to do.I thinks my friends thought that I know how to do the questions so I smile.Remembering what happened in the exam room that time.Everyone was like,huh huh huh.Such a disappointed sound made.The diagrams and some calculations only I think I still can manage but the theory,totally terrible.Anyhow scribble something on it.
Smiling is all I can do today.How to pass today's paper I wonder. :(

Wallet Found...

Haha,so happy.Two dirty uncle got my cards in my wallet delivered to my house.I think they are thinking that I will give them some money in return.NAH! *Shake head*
The still missing things are,the brown strips straps wallet my grandmother gave me,the winning ticket worth $46 and the money including the old $1 notes.At least I got the cards back,if not to replace all the card will cost me a bomb.Now the lost is approximately $70.But still quite sad because the wallet I only start to use starting of this year.
I was sleeping at the moment the two old man came.My mother should have woke me up to identify the people present.But it's my fault also,I did not tell my mother about it.But mother,as usual,best doing the talking and do nothing.

OM Paper...

Today was having OM paper.OM meaning Organisation Management.
I really don't know what to study for this subject.All is about organisation movement,what is to be done and what is not.I only took a look into the past year paper teacher gave us previously.
Lucky today's paper goes well.Only the Theory X and Y I not very sure,"ti gam" also can "ti gam" wrong.And yes,the Maslow's Theory,I don;t think I express it very clearly.By others goes well enough to pass the paper.

What Happened?...

After I left the exam room,I walked to Clementi Interchange to take the shuttle bus to Turf City to look at some things.I wantto buy 3 floor mat for my xiao pin competition and too a new earphones for my reciever and discman.Got to GIANT and start to compare the price.I was heading to the Singapore Pools outlet to place my bet but the odds did not grow yet so I decide to place before the bet closes.I head back to AMK via the shuttle bus.
I was calling Benjamin to look for my brother to ask him if he need to use his Ezlink.Ok will be meeting him before 6pm as he will be sending Yiru home.
After I bought the rice from NTUC,I took bus home.But on the way,I was thinking so troublesome to go home then come out again to meet him,so I call Shi Yun to look for my brother,telling him I coming to meet him now.So I took a bus to his school.
Before I drop the bus,I got a call from Li Jia concerning about the NJC issue.Happily talking to him.I tapped my wallet at the scanner and drop the bus.I was still holding to my wallet.The nI head for the void deck to sit down to talk.I left the packet of rice and wallet on the table and happily chatting away.
ShiYun still haven't found my brother yet,so I decided to go home instead again.When I was about to board the bus,I start to look for my wallet.ITS MISSING!It's not in my pocket and my pouch.DIE!I went back to the table to take a look.But it was not there.But the dirty old uncle was seen quickly packing up his "territory" and left quickly.I backtrack the track I took but in vain too.DIE!
I finally found my brother and ask him to come out of school quickly.But it still of no use.It's gone.After we parted,I head for the Kebun Baru Police Post to make a police report.I was at the station for 1 hour because the workstation was down for quite sometime.
After that,I sadly walk home.On the way home,I saw Jovena outside McDonald's.Just gave her a smile and then continue the walk home.I am very sad OK!!!

Thunder & Lightning...

At about 7.30pm this evening,there was a sudden change in the weather.Suddenly,strong flashes across the sky.And then there was thunder.I look out into the sky,THE SKY WAS RED IN COLOUR!My brother haven't come home,wondering where is he.Messaged Yiru to ask her but she say he left quite sometime already.
The flashes in the sky is getting worse ans worse.The brightness of the flash can be as bright as the daylight.It is terrifying.
Not long after,my dear brother came home and the sky start to pour.The rain was so heavy,it is still quite rare to happened.But the more rarer thing happened.The rain just come and go so fast.And the thunder + lightning + the rain did not kill the heat.After that,the weather is still so hot.So what does the thunder + lightning + the rain means?

KTV...

Today when to KTV with my best friends cum brothers from the Shao Er family.Thought today is to celebrate PeiHua birthday which is on the 8th of April.Then to my surprise find out,HEY IS CEYU'S BIRTHDAY THE VERY NEXT DAY!I think it will be a great time when they were celebrating birythday during the last few years when they were stead.
Got out of house at 6.45pm and board the bus at 6.55pm.I am suppose to meet them 7.30pm at Chinatown MRT but I was late.So I went to meet them in the hawker centre nearby.They have already order cutlet chop rice and bla bla bla.Each western plate is like $3 only.Where to find?$3 only you know.Of course me sure a cheapo person sure order too one.I order pork chop rice.It was really delicious!Forget to tell you who are there.There were the slim-down Lay Heng,Yong Jie,WenHui and Wei Jiang.Ceyu and DeCong will come in at a later time.Both of them working you see.
After the dinner,I told them that I will be quitting school to go army.Then the whole subject starts.All of them have waited long for me to get in you see.Then the subject start to flow.What is happening inside the camp,do what and what not to do.
After the short talk,we all head to the nearest 7-11 to buy bottle drinks to be drink at the KTV later althought it is illegal.Then we head for K-ster,at first I thought is K-box because the K-box phobie is still there.
We got a room for 7 people.Quite spacious for 5 people but is a squeesy when CeYu and Decong come in respectively.We start to sing like no tomorrow.We plan to sing until the place closes for the day which is at 3am.
I hate singing kraoke.I just can't sing at all.Don't ask me why.Maybe is because of the loud music,echo,bass and treble.My singing was really trerible.All songs out of tune,even my best high pitch don't go up today.But WeiJiang was really good,especially Zheng Zhong Ji's songs.
Guess what?We really sing until shop closes at 3am.the whole thing cost only $173 only for 7 people.Rather cheap.
I thought of going home by NightRider but WeiJiang is going home so we shared a cab.On the way home in the cab,really chat how others are now.Like Ah Leng,Wen Pei and Zhuang MEI'EN.He showed me a picture of her and I was quite shock.SO chio ok,then she is 21 this year.Waoh,time was really flies.The lasttime I saw he was when she is Sec 2?Yah,I think so.
Got home at 3.40am but just don't feel like sleeping.I played game for awhile before I sleep.That was like 4.30am? :D *I know what you gonna say,OWL!*

The Performance....

I was talking to XiaoYin in the carpark with waiting for my teammates.It's 7.15pm when I hang the call.Got abit worried because I am suppose to meet them at 7 pm and there is still no sign of them.I called Miao Shun the in-charge,guess what he says."Oh,we are settled down at the backstage already,where are you".
That when I walk to the backstage to find them.I asked them when they arrive,they told me the arrive at around 6.30pm ++ that is OMG loh.It's the time when I arrive there and waited blankly for 45 minutes.
Settled down and was given a packet of Prawn Mee to eat but don't feel like eating because of the Swensen ice-cream just now.So start to slack until the performance start.Miao Shu keep remind me to get prepared but I was still slacking here and there.
Performance finally start.Firstly it was Ah Nan(the sissy in Gao Xiao Xing Dong).His singing really sucks.Next is Bao Bei Jie Mei,another singing group.Their singing sucks too.Before they start to sing I still purposely put a chair to sit just to watch them.Their first song was "Po Si Mao",still claim they practice alot on this song.THEY SUCKS TOO!Just think they wear so less can make me say they are good.Before they sing 1/4 of the song,I was already outta my chair to do slacking else where.While slacking,I saw Jody,my cadet with I was a active Cadet Inspector in GYSS.She joined one of the lion dance troup too.(No wonder she so tom-boy)
Finally,it our turn to go up.Wushu performance of course.One by one we go up.I was 3 on the list with Fist.How come my entrance was so special that everyone was really looking at me while I was on the stage.The girls at the staricase cheered for me too.I was without my glasses that time so I didn't see them clearly.
After my first entrance,I will be heading for the 2nd which is 7th on the list with my sword.After the1st I am almost energy-less.From the right stage when I got down,to the backstage to collect my sword and then head to the left side to get prepare.Other people perform once while I twice,that's the different.As usual,the girls cheer.Before I got up the stage,I heard them say something but don't know what.Hack care and up the stage I go.Already a dead beat but still have to perform and give my best at least for the moment.
Ok,after that is done,the only thing I can do is to lay on the floor right next to the right stage staircase to rest.Peolple thought what happened to me. :D After that I got up and change back to my normal clothing.And left left the place to go home.I am already very tired and I can feel a little bit of headache.
I just realise why I am that special when I am on the stage.It should be because of my performing custume.Other was blue and with while I was in orange with brown.My mother make 1 ok! Proud one hor...

XiaoYin...

Thank to Xiao Yin,some of my unhappiness,boredom and untold story are gone somehow.So That I can happily go perform in awhile later.
I got to AMK Ave 10 and happily thought that I gotto the right place.So I decided to shop at the shops nearby for awhile before I report my presence.I bought another CD in the shops over there.The CD was by Huang Pin Yuan.It contain all the best songs from him since his 1st Album,including my favourite,"Ni Wei Shen Me She De Wo Nan Guo".Best song he sang you know.Then I continue my walk to the "place".
When I got to the place,all I saw is josstick and alot of praying stuff.Ok,I got to the wrong place.There were 2 events held in the same Ave and on the same day.I think the right venue should be further down,so I continue to walk down.
On the way down,XiaoYin called me regarding the wrist band I saw at J8 which I didn't buy for her.On the way,I talk to her about the things happened a few days ago."Suay" for her. :D But if not for her,I think I still wouldn't feel good inside me.Chat with her quite long while I was waiting for my teammates to arrive.
Talk to her on many things.All the things I keep in the heart is finally out,all the secrets and things I did.Waoh!

Swensen...

After I "complete" my shopping at J8.I start to walk to AMK.But it seems like the time is still quite early.So I decide to find something to satisfy my deat stomach.It was not hungry but just wan to eat only.SO head for swensen to break my record for eating the most expensive ice-cream ever bought.A bit pathetic right? haha!The ice-cream cost me $5.95 without other charges.This is also the smallest amount charge to my mastercard.
Slack in the shop,eating my ice-cream away slowly.Enjoying time and forget whatever is in my mind.

Shopping...

Afterthe wake,I will be slacking in Bishan before I head for AMK Ave 10 there for the performance.
Firstly,I purposely walk 1 big round to the POSB ATM to withdraw money to transfer to my OCBC account.Do the transferring very very slowly just to drag time.After that,I head to J8 as plan to do shopping to buy things.

Walked very slowly and really take time to look at each product.And guess what after walking the whole building,I did not find any of the following.Very disappointed ok.
When to G2000 and U2 to look for the formal T-shirt I bought always,but thet both told me that they do not sell those I want.Other shops I also did look into but in vain.The thing that furious me is that after the expansion of J8,there are still nothing good to shop or buy in the building.I still expect to make a shopping spree to kill off my bad mood for the last few days.
I went into Best and found the Inayasha VCD.It is orginal and is a special edition.Guess how much it cost?$29.90 per volume and there are like 7 volumes in all.If I really did buy it,I must be out of my mind.
Went to look for the keychain then,a few shops I went into like Mini Toons and Action City.Expect to buy a chain which got "Rachel" of a frog related.Found only 1 type of keychain which fits the requirments.Oh my god! Before I start to shop for it,I still expect a headache on which to buy.Got the keychain at LeMoN TrEe.
That marks the end of my shopping in J8 for the day.Quite disappointed about it.IS NOT QUITE!IS VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

I am very sorry to Steffi and the whole gang of 619.The left leg of the frog chipped off.I don't know when it happened but swear I am already very careful when handling my handphone.
I am sorry ok.I will make sure the right leg don't chip off again. :P

The Wake...

Today when to the wake of Candy's grandfather in Bishan.Guess where it was held?Directly below Goh Seek Hoon's house.(Miss Goh is my Chinese teacher from 1995-1998,currently teaching in MGS now)
Got there with my 2nd choice sword as my 1st sword is already sealed in the box.Put the sword a distance away before I head for the alm to pay respect.
After that sat down with Candy at a table and start to chit chat.Forget that she ceom from a English speaking family,I was speaking Chinese to her which make her abit uncomfortables,so I switch to English after a while.Talk to her to understand how her grandfather died,is natural death or illness.I think she is quite vague about it too.HOW CAN?!
Called Liu Jun to tell her about the Xiao Pin latest news but she never answer my call,so asked Candy to let her know about it.Talk about her school,me and some craps.Got to there a bit too early at 2.50pm.Thought can slack there for the while but she haveto do some other funeral stuff so can acompany me.
Before I leave the place,I am suppose to give some "white money"(don't know call wjat in English,can someone enlighten me please).Upon she open the book for record,I saw the amount range from $30 to $50.Thought of giving $10 only but in the end $20.
And for your information,Candy's father once work in a high post in HDB but later work for this company as a managing director for the current construction company.Very rich ok,who can win Candy's heart will be very lucky liao hor......

Walking...

Ok people,I love working and not sure if I did broke my walking record.I walk from my house which is near St Nic to RI with is in Bishan.Then from J8 I walk all the way to Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 for the performance.Win already right?
There will be a few more entries today cause too many things happened today. :(

Full Force...

Today almost the whole wushu group is back.Except for Ming Hua who is working,my brother got badminton competition and Albert and Edward missing.Oh yes,totally forget about Mei Ying,should be working too.
The main reason why we are all nback is because there is a performance tomorrow.All come back for last minute training,practice and rehearsal.For me,after slightly less then 1 year break,I am back.For Weiming and the others,like 1/2 year never touch Wushu already they claim.
Some new faces seen but is all the kids again.Some kids already grown up like the twins,they were so naughty when the lasttime I see them I recalled.
I will be performing a sword as a standard routine,if needed tomorrow,I will put on another Northern fist.By to my body and stamina,that will be a torture definately.
Training all by myself today from 7.50 to about 8.30 before the others come in 1 by one,force Gary to perform but he is working tomorrow.
On the list there were Wei Ming,Wei Jie,and me with the kids group and the lions.Huh?! that spell some trouble for me tomorrow.
